My Story

From a young age I had always been in to knives, it wasn’t until 2019 when the journey of being a knifemaker had begun. Handforged blades were my interest, and quality was my passion.

One of the first damascus blades forged from billet of damascus clad san mai. 1095 and 15n20 high carbon steels

Blacksmithing had become a passion, by the influence of a single lesson taught in highschool metal tech class. The lesson was to forge a cold cutting chisel for sheet metal work. The next few years later were full of efforts to scrap together some cheap forges, from disc brakes, to mower decks. It wasn’t until a forge built from scratch with kiln fire bricks and a venturi style burner was constructed, that knives were being made. Simple knives from high carbon steel, and a couple attempts at damascus set the grounds for essential lessons in bladesmithing.

The next two years only a couple of knives had been made but skills and finishes had improved with each one made. The goal with each knife is to always improve the fit and finish.
