This 8.5inch chefs knife features a damascus core san mai steel construction, with a bold hamon running about 80% of the way down the blade. The handle is a split construction of desert ironwood and Trout G-carta, the bolster is brass and has a forged dimple texture on the face. The blade was then giving a light etch to bring out the contrast in the differing steels and to also bring out that nice hamon.
