Western Santoku
This unique take on a santoku, brings together the curves and form of a western style handle and the dainty drop point of a Japanese santoku. The handle is constructed of stabilized and blue dyed maple wood, with an orange epoxy bolster and then a very vibrant epoxy overpour spacer to set the knife apart. The blade is forged from unique damascus utilizing 15n20 and 1095, then ground to a thin and razor sharp edge. It was then given a light etch in ferric chloride, and dunked in instant coffee to bring out a deeper contrast to the steels.
